River Valley Guides is a fishing guide service that provides guided fly fishing tours in various locations, mostly The Farmington River in CT.

With River Valley Guides, you can catch a variety of fish species, but what we're really here for is helping you successfully land your first or just your most recent... rainbow and brown trout.

We provide the necessary equipment for our fishing tours, including fishing rods, reels, flies, and other gear. Waders and boots can be rented at our local fly shop, Up Country.  However, if you prefer to bring your own equipment, you are encouraged and welcome to do so.

What sets us apart from other local guide services is the decades of hospitality experience we bring to your outing.  We know how lucky we are that you decided to book with us, and we want to show you that a day spent fishing with RVG is a day well spent.
